The
tour begins with pick-up from your hotel. Highlights
include the Majestic Sultan Omar Saifuddin Mosque,
the Royal Regalia Exhibition Hall, the Malay Technology
Museum, Brunei Museum, the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah
Mosque and a view of the magnificent Istana Nurul
Iman, the official residence of His Majesty the
Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam. Ample photo
stops will be made at each of the attractions besides
the guided tour. At the end of the tour, you will
be dropped at your hotel.

tour begins with pick-up from your hotel and transfer
to the jetty area in the middle of the capital city
where you will be taken on a scenic boat ride to
the water village on the other side of the river.
Well known as the largest water village in the world,
water village perched on the Brunei River and home
to around 30,000 people. Even for centuries ago,
the size and complexity of Brunei water village
greatly impressed the Magellan expedition which
received a stately welcome upon entering Brunei
Bay in 1521. Although, most of the houses on stilts
are now furnished with every modern amenity, the
tranquillity and serenity of a typical malay village.
Your tour ends with transfer back to you hotel.

Jerudong Park

Your
evening fun trip begins with pick-up from your hotel
and transfer to Jerudong Park Playground. Discover
the child in you and have fun on the various rides
available at the playground. The nightly magical
fountain show believed to be the best in Asia will
definately take your breath away. Local food stalls
and a chic cafe are available within the park area.
At 11:30pm, you will be picked up and transferred
back to your hotel with a lot of happy memories.

Proboscis Monkey Encounter

The water taxi will take you through scenic views of the life on water. You will pass the famous historical Kampong Ayer and Sultan's Palace, before entering the mangrove to rest with its uniquely adaptions and abundant wildlife. Long-tailed Macaques, Stork-billed Kingfishers, White-bellied Sea Eagles, Brahimy Kites and species of egrets are commonly seen, and you may be lucky enough to encounter a Salt-Water Crocodile or see a mangrove snake on overhanging branches.
Cruise leisurely through the mangrove in search of the wild Proboscis Monkey, found only in Borneo. You are able to see a group of these improbable creatures, which have excited the curiosity of visitors to Borneo since colonial times. The penduluous pink noses and potbellies of the males reminded locals of Europeans, and gave them thier local name of "Orang Belanda", "Ambok Bangkatan" or "Dutchman". Before the end of this tour, you'll be stopping by the middle of the river to see the beautiful sunset and also, wait abnd see the egrets returning back to thier nest "Egret's Home". Transfer back to jetty. |
