| Located on the foothill of legendary Mount Santubong, about 35 klm from the city, this is an award-winning "Sawarak Cultural Village". This living museum depicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sawarak and conveniently portrays the respective lifestyle amidst 14 acres of equatorial vegetation. Here, it is possible to see sawarak's enthic diversity at a glance. The handicraft is both bewildering and tempting, including the Kian Songket (Malay cloth with gold inlay), Pua Kumbu (Iban housewives textiles), Melanau Terendak (sunhat), Bidayuh tambok (basket), Iban parang (swords), Orng Ulu wood carving and Chinese ceramic. The 45-minute cultural performance of songs, dances and entertainment is something you will not want to miss out during the visit to this cutural village. |

| Jong's Crocodile Farm is situated 30-minutes outside of Kuching. jong's Farm is nestled among tropical fruit trees and grennery and is the haunt of over 1,000 crocs. In addition to these fearsome reptiles, visitors can view monkeys, bearcats, barking deer, pheasants, leopard car, monitor lizards and the python. Some leather goods and a small assortment of bric-a-brac are available for sale. |

A one-half hour's drive from Kuching plus another half hour's walk on a plank walkway through undulating and dense rainforest is Sawarak's most endearing park. Animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts won't want to miss out on this excursion, which features a 740 acres sanctuary for a number of Sawarak's indigenous wildlife including the orginial "Bornean Man Of The Forest" - the unique and gentle Orang Utan. Hone bears, storks, monkeys and the rare raucous hornbill, Kenyalang, also sheltered in this forest reserve. Most of the animals here have been taken from captivity and are slowly rehabilitated in order to return them to their natural habitat. Feeding times at the centre - 9.00 am and 2.30 pm. |

Bako National Park Tour

Morning, depart Kuching for a 45 mintues drive which passes through mangrove forest with its unique nipah palms before arriving at the Bako Fishing Fishing Village. Continue by a motorized boat for 30 mintues cruise along the coast facing the South China Sea to reach Bako National Park. Proceed to see monitor lizards and macaques and familiarize yourself with the environment. After lunch, proceed to explore the park's western end by trekking through mangrove forest to observe the mudskippers and blue-fiddler crabs, Paku Trail look-out for Proboscis Monkey, climb to the plateau which is home to various botanical delight and several species of the carnivorous pitcher plants. |

Native Sunday Market

The Weekend Market or the Sunday Market (as the locals call it) starts as early as Saturday afternoon and lasts throughout the night. Today, alongside the farmers and gatherers, urban folks are also setting up hawker stores as well. This market place has always been popular for its wide array of local fruits and vegetables collected fro the jungles and sold by Bidayuh ladies who come all the way from their rural home. The rural folks will cramp overnight in order to continue their trade over the weekend. produce are spread on canvas or mat placed on the floor and sometimes with colorful umbrellas shielding them from the sun. Here, you can also find local handicrafts, forest products - including delicious wild honey and the famous local ferns "midin", orchid plants, live fish and whole range of local snacks and delicacies. The weekend market is an experience not to be missed! |

Lemanak Longhouse

| Depart Kuching for Lemanak Iban Longhouse in the morning driven through country road for about 4 hours passing by and stopover at pepper, cocoa garden, aimdst green mountainous scenery making 03 stops along the way - 1st at Serian Town to pick up some gift for the Iban - guide will advise, 2nd for a sumptuous lunch - lastly arrive at Lemanak jetty where a motorized longboat await to take you upriver to the longhouse for about an hour boat ride. Upon arrival at the longhouse, free to explore the longhouse with our guide or swim in the river. The evening witness traditional cultural warrior dance "NGAJAT" with the longhouse's chief and folks after dinner at the guesthouse. your participant is most welcome. Rice wine "TUAK" is served during the night. |
| Day 02: Lemanak (B'fast/Lunch/Dinner) |
| Breakfast. Witness blowpipe demonstration before going for an hour jungle walks to witness animal's trap, edible and medicinal plants. Embark into longboat to go further upriver to visit another longhouse with lunch enroute cooked in bamboo pits ober bon fire. After the visit, return to the first longhouse. Along the way, collect jungle produce swimming, fishing. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse. |

| Today depart from Kuching by air-conditioned van / coach for Hilton Batang Ai Resort, 166 miles from Kuching City, passing through scenic countryside consisting of quaint little towns, villages, padi fields, pepper and oil palm plantations interspersed with secondary and virgin jungle as the road starts to wind and undulate as you go deeper into the interior. Stop for lunch at Lachau, a small town on the way to the resort. Arrive at the Hydro Lake at Lubok Antu. Board a shuttle ferry for the resort situated on the southern bank. Dinner and accommodation at Hilton Batang Ai Resort. |
| Day 02: Batang Ai (B'fast / Lunch / Dinner) |
| Breakfast. Depart by longboat to Ngemah longhouse for a guided tour of this 15 room communal longhouse, where approximately 15 families of the Iban tribe live under one roof. It is literally a whole village on stilt, situated on the river bank of one of the many tributaries of the Batang Ai Region. Observe the weaving and hand-crafting skills of the Ibans as they work on he "ruai", a long communal verandah that stretches the entire length of the longhouse. Enjoy a short cultural performance by the inhabitant of the longhouse followed later by a blow pipe demonstration. lunvh will be served in the longhouse. Later on in the afternoon return back to the resort. Dinner and overnight at Hilton Batang Ai Resort. |
